£60k Donated from Griffin Chapman Colchester Half Marathon

Griffin Chapman, title sponsors of the record-breaking Colchester Half Marathon, were pleased to hand over a cheque for £60,000 to The Essex and Herts Airbulance Trust, together with Colchester Colne Round Table.

Dan Aldworth, Partner commented "As the lead sponsors, we are immensely proud that we as a group can give so much to a worthy cause. This is the largest amount the event has ever raised.

"We're pleased that this money will make a real difference in our community as this cheque represents tens of life-saving helicopter missions funded."

This year's event has been hailed as the biggest and best to date, with 4,000 runners registered, 200+ volunteers and thousands of spectators lining the route.
